Ira Kaspi is a soft sounding and soulful jazz singer with strong interpretations led by intuition and courage. Ira is influenced by traditional jazz singers like Ella, Sarah and Billie and she is right “at home” performing a standard tune. The other side of her is the songwriter who pours her feelings on lyrics and melodies.

\"Ira´s new album is a true treasure of atmosphere. Sensitive yet strong. Fine jazz standards. The addition of the symphony orchestra was a top solution.\"
— Pertti Laesmaa/\"You and the Night and the Music/Prophone Records PCD 125, Voima
\"The CD starts with an atmoshere of a Bond theme and continues with an over smooth touch through a collection of standards with Ira Kaspi on mic. Soft, swinging and easy listening.\"
— Anna Wallentin, Folkbladet/You and the Nigh and the Music/Prophone Records/PCD 125
\"Also listen to the opening track \"Don`t Go to Strangers\" featuring beautiful singing and the elegant orchestration. At the end of the session there is an enthralling dialogue between the tenor sax and the harp\"
— Thomas - Warta Jazz/Indonesia
“The strength of Kaspi’s vocals is in her rhythm and sense of swing, which she uses to full advantage in numbers like The Best Is Yet To Be Coming She has a knack for striking notes clearly and deliberately to make her voice sound like an instrument: a universally good quality in a jazz singer”
— Sally Evans-Darby - Jazz Journal
\"Her vocals are very jazzy. The recording is even and the diction is clear. On a few tracks Ira embelishes the melody with lyrics not in scat. This is definitely one of the strenghts of Ira Kaspi.\"
— Olli Ervasti - Jazzrytmit
\"Kaspi´s CD is very successful undoubtedly one of the best national jazz recordings.\"
— Jukka Piiroinen - Pohjolan Sanomta
